Vehicle extrication exercise in Bluff

Recently, Quality Auto Repair supported Bluff Volunteer Fire Department by providing space and resources to hold a multi-agency vehicle extrication training exercise.
Montezuma Creek Fire Department and the UNHS EMS Extrication team were on scene to provide guidance and practice collaborative response scenarios. In total, 25 first responders were present utilizing specialized equipment, sharing knowledge, and reviewing previous calls.
BVFD Captain Josh Ewing remarked, “This is probably the largest group of first responders we’ve had at a training in decades!”
BVFD trainees were especially impressed with how organized and prepared the team members from Montezuma Creek were, and by the demonstration of AMKUS rescue system tools. 
The Bluff Volunteer Fire Department would like to express their sincere gratitude for Quality Auto Repair in Blanding.
BVFD also extends additional appreciation to Jasper Barney, who is an invaluable asset to the region as the Montezuma Creek Fire Chief, and to UNHS EMS Director Otis Oldman, whose advocacy for first-responders and organizational leadership skills have elevated Montezuma Creek and UNHS in the EMS world.
It is a privilege for BVFD to work beside the skilled teams and generous supporters from their neighboring communities.
