Assistant Coach Brian Taylor: “Marlee Mack is the kind of player every coach loves to have. She is a fierce competitor with basketball IQ and natural talent. Marlee picked up plays quickly. She had a natural feel for spacing and could see the court, making her valuable on both ends of the floor. She was the top rebounder and one of the team’s leading scorers. Her tight, tenacious defense made her the go-to assignment against the other team’s best players.
“Marlee was committed to the team’s success and pushed her teammates to give their best. She led by example with her relentless work ethic and left everything she had on the floor every single game.  Marlee is also a well-rounded individual who excels in school and other areas. She is a multi-sport athlete in track, basketball, and volleyball and holds multiple school records. She is the Vice President of FBLA and a National Honor Society officer. She is also a 4.0 student. She serves in her community and church. Marlee is a great example of doing your best and pushing yourself to improve. She was a pleasure to coach.”
