Fundraising success at SJHS

Students at Blanding Elementary School recently raised well over $1,000 for needy families and all it cost was Principal Mark Burge’s hair (in addition to the hair of staff members Brian Bilbao and Tad Barton). Students raised the funds, primarily in pennies, in about a week’s time. The hair was cut (with the help of Katherine Turk) at an end-of-semester assembly at the school.
