Giant Pumpkin

Muhlestein Greenhouse sponsored a giant pumpkin growing contest this summer. The winner is the one and only Dallon DuFrene, aged 10, from Cahone, CO. He is pictured here with his six-year-old sister Kiersten. She is leaning on the winner, a 213.8 lb Atlantic Giant. They also grew an impressive 196 lb and a 151 lb pumpkin. Dallon won an iPad Mini for his efforts. The pumpkin growing siblings are the children of Lacy and Lonny DuFrene. Their secret? – can’t tell.
