Grand County Credit Union expands into San Juan County
Samuel Crane, President and CEO of the Grand County Credit Union in Moab and Green River, Utah, announced the hiring of Taylor Harrison to open a Lending Center in Blanding.
Crane intends to offer credit union services to residents of the Blanding and surrounding area. He said he “wants residents of the Blanding area to get the same access to inexpensive credit as his members in Moab and Green River.”
Harrison previously worked for Wells Fargo as the manager of the Monticello Branch and more recently, as the Manager of the Blanding Branch.
He brings ten years of banking experience to the position and is excited to offer Grand County Credit Union’s low cost lending program to his friends and neighbors in the Blanding area.
Harrison is originally from West Jordan, UT. He met and married Stacy (Lyman) Harrison, a local girl, in 2007. They plan to continue living and raising their three children in Blanding.
Harrison enjoys serving on the Blanding City Council and as a Director on the San Juan Chamber of Commerce. He serves the community as a Lions Club member, as a volunteer for the Boy Scouts, and as a little league baseball coach.
The credit union intends on opening the Lending Office in Blanding early this summer.
