Joseph’s Dreamcoat to be presented in Monticello
After a long hiatus, Monticello will present a community play this summer! Auditions for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat are March 30 and 31 beginning at 6 p.m. Auditions are open to everyone ages six to 106 at the Monticello High School auditorium.
There are parts for children, teenagers and adults. They are looking for a strong Joseph and someone who can sing like Elvis, so dust off your Blue Suede shoes!
The cast includes a 20-30 person children’s choir, 18-20 men and 13-15 women.
Rehearsals begin in April and the performances are July 21-23, 2016.
Choreography is by Tina Murdock, and the director is Sarah Wolford. Both women have experience with this show.
They need lots of help, so if you have any interest in helping with costumes, sets, tech, or hair and makeup, please let Sarah Wolford know.
Audition material will be available at the high school starting March 21. The packet includes all instructions for auditions.
