La Sal fire gets new gear

The La Sal Volunteer Fire Department recently received much-needed new personal protective equipment through MSA and DuPont’s Globe Gear Giveaway, in partnership with the National Volunteer Fire Council. Four sets of state-of-the-art turnout gear and four new helmets were delivered on December 11. This new gear will help ensure responders are safe and protected while they protect their community. The rural volunteer department services around 400 residents of La Sal and surrounding areas.
