2019 July 4 Quilt Show and Raffle

William Hurst’s star quilt won the People’s Choice Award at the 2019 4th of July Grayson Country Quilters Show in Blanding. He won $100. The quilters also raffled three beautiful quilts. First place went to Carol Richmond, pictured with her new flag quilt. The second place annual quilt raffle winner was Tiawna Moses, and Lynn Shumway grabbed third place. The Grayson Country Quilters extend a special thanks to everyone who donated or bought raffle tickets and store items this year. The group does many charity projects throughout the year with the funds they receive. They also wish to give an extra special mention to Jeri Montella who does the majority of their quilting. In addition, Kathy Hurst made it possible to have three quilts to draw this year.
