Monticello Gingerbread House Winners

Seventeen businesses participated in the 2025 gingerbread tour including: Monticello Merc True Value, Monticello Library, Unique Creations, Elk Ridge Wellness Center, Blue Mountain Meats, Conoco/Subway, Blue Mountain Foods, Emery Telecom, Utah State University Monticello Campus, Overbite, Desert Rivers Credit Union, the Sheriff’s office, the Visitors Center, Monticello City offices, Main Street Drug, BLM, and Zions Bank Monticello.

Zion’s Bank took First Place in the tenth annual Christmas Gingerbread House Tour hosted by Monticello City. Zions Bank entry titled “From our house to yours, Merry Christmas!” depicted a small town Christmas village made up of graham cracker gingerbread houses created by Jack family artists ranging in ages from 2 to 65.

Second Place went to the Monticello Bureau of Land Management for their majestic Ponderosa Pine tree all made of gingerbread and frosting. Third Place was awarded to Main Street Drug, whose entry delighted people with the details befitting a pharmacy, as rooftops, shingles, Christmas lights, windows, doors, pine trees and more were created from empty pill capsules and syringes, while carolers were made out of an assortment of empty pill bottles. Even the baby in a manger was “a little pill.”
