New presidency for Monticello Temple

Dwight Rawlings has been called to serve as the seventh president of the Monticello Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. President Rawlings will begin a three-year term of service on November 1, 2018.
Rawlings and his wife, Brenda, are from Montrose, CO. He retired after a successful teaching career at Montrose High School, including 26 years as a coach.
President Rawlings is a former stake president, bishop and mission presidency counselor. He was born in Logan, UT and grew up in Idaho.
Brenda Rawlings will serve as temple matron.
The Rawlings will be joined in the temple presidency by Stephanie and Reid Chapman of Monticello, and Diane and Calvin Balch of Blanding.
The new temple presidency replaces President Thomas and Matron Layne Livingston. The temple presidency has included Larry and Renae Yarbrough of Cortez, CO, and James and Beverly Harris of Blanding.
Prior temple presidents and matrons include Lisle and Jewel Adams, Cooper and Colleen Jones, Donald and Shirley Jack, Vaughan and Karen Johnson, Richard and Renee Pincock, and the Livingstons. The calling of Temple President comes from the First Presidency of the Church.
