Public Invited to Tour the Farmington New Mexico Temple

A public open house for the Farmington New Mexico Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will run from July 17 to August 2 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, excluding Sundays. The Farmington New Mexico Temple is located at 4400 College Boulevard in Farmington.
Elder Neil L Anderson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will dedicate the temple in one session on Sunday, August 17, 2025. The dedicatory session will be broadcast to all units in the temple district.
Church President Russell M. Nelson announced the Farmington New Mexico Temple during the April 2021 general conference. The 207th temple for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be the second temple in the state, joining the Albuquerque New Mexico Temple.
More than 69,000 Latter-day Saints in nearly 140 congregations call New Mexico home.
The Farmington temple will serve people from northwest New Mexico, Southwest Colorado and northeast Arizona, bringing rich diversity from the Native American, Hispanic, and European cultures, as underscored in the dedicatory prayer at the temple groundbreaking ceremony on April 20, 2022.
Elder Anthony D. Perkins, the General Authority Seventy who offered the groundbreaking prayer, stated, “We are grateful Thy temple will be built in this city where three rivers come together and leave as one.” We anticipate having people from each culture flowing to the temple and leaving with greater joy and unity.
