Small Business Week in San Juan County

The San Juan Chamber of Commerce is expanding Small Business Saturday to an entire week of small businesses shopping throughout the week. 

Using #shopsanjuan, they encourage everyone to shop local and post pictures of anything they are buying in San Juan County, whether it’s a picture of their lunch, a project they’ve built buying local products, Christmas decorations, a manicure from a salon, or anything showing folks are supporting local businesses.

The object is to have people post their local shopping experiences on social media and use the hashtag #shopsanjuan to help promote local shopping, show what is available in San Juan County, and keep some Christmas shopping local.

To help promote the event, there will be drawings and gift certificates to local places.
