Summer programs offers free lunch to children in San Juan County
Utah Food Bank is proud to announce the Summer Food Service Program. The program will provide free meals to children 18 years of age and under in both “Open Sites” and “Enrolled Programs.”
Sites will serve either individual meals or a box of non-perishable meals containing seven breakfasts and seven lunches.
Kids must be present to receive their meals. Each category has unique qualifications as outlined on Utah Food Bank’s website.
Sites in San Juan County include:
• Utah Food Bank Southeastern Distribution Center from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays through August 5 at 295 East 200 North in Blanding.
• Utah Food Bank Montezuma Creek Food Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays through August 5 at 400 North 50th East in Montezuma Creek.
• Utah Food Bank Monument Valley Food Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays through August 5 at Mile post 0 Higway 163 in Monument Valley.
• Monticello Elementary School from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays thought August 5 at 197 North 200 West in Monticello.
• Halchita Community Center from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Monday thru Thursday at 302 Main Street in Mexican Hat. This ends July 23.
