Misty Snow

U.S. Senate
Misty K Snow was born in Salt Lake City in 1985 and has lived her entire life in Utah. Misty has a very strong connection to this state and its people. Misty is 31 and if elected, she would be the very first millennial elected to the United States Senate, bringing a fresh perspective to Washington also being a voice for her generation.
Misty K Snow is not a career politician. Misty works at a grocery store and comes from a working class background. Misty understands the needs of average citizens and what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck.
Misty feels that far too many of our representatives in Washington have become out of touch with the needs of average citizens. As a working class person; Misty understands the needs of working class people and their families.

Misty K Snow will be a voice for working class families and will focus on issues such as:
• Fighting for a living wage,
• Ensuring that our working mothers have access to paid maternity leave and,
• Increasing access too affordable healthcare.

Back in June, Misty K Snow visited San Juan County and met with some of the residents there. Misty had the opportunity listen and talk to the people of San Juan County about important issues such as:
• Infrastructure need,
• Childhood education and
• Public lands, just to mention a few.
Misty was so happy to meet with the great people of San Juan County as well as listening to their concerns and what actions they would like to see by their public officials.

Misty K Snow believes that there are a number of things that congress can do, and should do. Misty believes that congress can make more federal funding available for education and help preserve the culture of indigenous students by ensuring that their languages are taught in the schools of their communities.
Misty knows congress can do more to help develop the infrastructure of the region and help spur economic development. Misty will ensure public lands will be enjoyed by future generations and the needs of rural communities are met.

Misty K values love and compassion and she believes that these values are Utah values. Misty is someone who is not from Washington and will bring a uniquely Utah perspective to congress. Misty will be a strong voice that stands up for Utah families!
This fall, Utah voters will have an opportunity to send someone to Washington who will actually represent them and give a voice to those who are currently voiceless in congress. Misty K Snow is someone who will be a strong champion for the working class and their families in congress.
Misty K Snow will stand up for the rights of indigenous people and be someone who listens to their concerns. Misty K Snow will be a strong voice in congress for the people of San Juan County.
