Kate Goble named Monticello's citizen of the year

Kate Goble was named Citizen of the Year by the City of Monticello. The award was presented on December 13 at the annual holiday music concert at Monticello High School. Goble was named for serving the community as president of the Monticello Elementary School PTA and as chairman of the Monticello City Recreation Committee. She has also provided additional community service as a businesswoman and in her church. The Goble family is leaving Monticello and moving to Richfield, where Kate’s husband, Alex Goble, was recently made a judge in the state judicial system.  Courtesy photo
