Monument Valley volleyball

The Monument Valley High School varsity volleyball team finished second in the Region 19 standings and now moves on to the 1A State Volleyball Tournament at Utah Valley University. The Cougars open the tournament at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 28 when they face the Altamont Longhorns. The following match begins at 1 p.m.
The varsity squad includes (left to right) Jasmine Stanley, Ervianne Cly, Mikayla Begay, Angell Atene, Dizhoni June, Skylar Bedoni, Kaylin Bedonie, and Monique Cly. Not pictured are Virginia Black and Nicola Atene.
The junior varsity members of the team (not photographed) include Jeanna Holiday, Yasheenii Shortman, Christel Tsosie, Bertilda Goodshield, Kyra Grandson, Chaylene Grandson, Crystal Stanley, Tanisha Cowboy, Jamika Nelson, Feonna Hudson, Rochelle Kaytso, and Elvina Yazzie.
