National Guild of Piano Teacher's auditions

Local students participated in the recent National Guild of Piano Teacher’s auditions in Cortez.  Students played up to ten memorized pieces, including classical repetoire from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary eras.  The judge was impressed with the musicality of the young pianists from San Juan.  Special recognition to Erin Hurst for performing a ten-piece program for the fourth year!  Pianists are students of Denise Frost.
