New presidency in Blanding

A new presidency was named on May 15 to lead the Blanding Utah Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Alon Pugh (center) is the new stake president. He will be assisted by councilors Steve Black (left) and Trevor Olson (right). They replace President Mike Redd and his councilors Joe Hurst and Doug Christiansen.
The new presidency was announced at a Blanding Stake Conference. Visiting authorities include Craig A. Cardon of the First Quorum of Seventy and Area Seventy Raymond S. Heyman. The presidency will lead the stake for approximately nine years.
The Blanding Stake includes approximately one dozen congregations, including congregations in Blanding, White Mesa, Bluff and Montezuma Creek.
