2011 Lil Miss and Mister Wrangler named

The Lil Miss and Lil Mr Wranglers for the San Juan County Fair are Brooklyn Redd and Dallin Hellewell.
Brooklyn, age 5, is the daughter of Aleigh and Steven Redd. Dallin, age 3, is the son of Jennifer Hellewell and Brian Hellewell.
They were named after a competition between nine aspiring Wranglers on Saturday, July 30. The couple will be involved in public events at the San Juan County Fair, which begins on Friday, August 5 and continues through Saturday, August 13.
In addition to Redd and Hellewell, contestants included Taygen Myers, age 5; Easton Saunders, age 3; Savannah Wright, age 3; Macee Palmer, age 4; Blake Reed, age 4; Sadie Adair, age 5; and Madden Perkins, age 3. Their parents are Dachanie and Levi Meyers, Mindy and Scott Saunders, Alicia Wright and Kyle McDonald, Mardawn and Preston Palmer, Amber Reed and Dustin Reed, Ashley and Todd Adair, and Torie and Hanson Perkins, respectively.
The contest was under the direction of Terri Harris with the assistance of the Blue Mountain Roundup Rodeo Royalty, and many sponsors, including the Blanding Arts and Events Center, Walmart, Subway of Monticello, Pick-a-Stitch, and Keith Cauley Photography.
