Ernest Gordon Adams

Ernest Gordon Adams, beloved father and grandfather, passed away on February 12, 2014.
He was born to John Ernest Adams and Garda Gee of Blanding, UT on May 11, 1931.
When he was young, he helped his father at the ranch in Colorado during the summer time.
He graduated from San Juan High School in 1949. From there, he entered the Navy and was stationed in Hawaii for two years.
In 1957, he married Nadine Nielson and started his family.
He worked as a distributor for Canyonlands Propane, working from an office in his home.
Later, he created his own business A&M propane with his brother Lisle Adams, and Bo Montella.
It was a thriving business that provided lively hoods for many family members.
They worked hard to serve the communities of San Juan.
He was dearly loved and admired by his family and will be greatly missed.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, sister Shauna A. Carter, wife Nadine Nielson, son G. Kent Adams, son-in-law Richard Eubanks, and great grandson Kayj W. Shumway.
He is survived by his siblings: Ardis A Schloer, Deaun Johnson, Lisle (Judy) Adams and twin sister Erma Garda A Nielson; five children: Verissa A. Eubanks, Denise A. (Sid) Smith, Kyle N. (Michelle) Adams, Dena Lynn A. (Mitch) Shumway, and Vance E. (Kacee) Adams, along with 26 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.

Our many kind thoughts and prayers go out to those who have shared and appreciated the life of our father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
His life on earth has taught us the value of hard work and dedication.
