Whitehorse senior Heidi Clark plays in All-Star game

Whitehorse senior Heidi Clark was selected to play on the Utah 1A girls basketball All-Star team and competed against 2A All-Stars at a game on March 15 at North Sevier High School in Salina.
Clark was one of nine 1A All-Star selections and was the starting point guard for the 1A team. With all nine players seeing time on the court Clark scored four points and had three assists, multiple steals, and rebounds in a losing effort to the 2A squad.
Speaking about Clark, Whitehorse Head Coach Joni Dickson said, “Her passion and dedication made her team and community proud as she represented Whitehorse today.”
Coaches Joni and Derick Dickson earned the Region 19 Coach of the Year award at the All-Star game. They also received the 1A fifth place plaque recognizing Whitehorse’s finish in the 1A State Tournament.
Dickson wrote, “We take immense pride in our coaches who have exhibited unrelenting dedication and commitment to our program. This award is without a doubt a recognition of their efforts as well.”
