Historical Society receives monetary award from Blanding Trust

The Blanding Community Legacy Trust recently awarded the San Juan Historical Society a $2,000 matching grant to assist with repairs to the historical Swallows Nest building, located behind the Blanding Visitors Center. The building needs repairs due to vandalism and weatherization. The Legacy Trust, a 501 C3 non profit corporation, is actively engaged in raising funds to award similar grant assistance to qualifying projects in the Blanding city area. Pictured in the photo are (left to right):  Donna Jensen and Nancy Kimmerle from the San Juan Historical Society and Bret Hosler and Steve Jensen, both Legacy Trust Board members, with the Swallows Nest building in the background.
