Head Coach Barkley Christensen: “It’s no surprise to me that Jonas received Academic All-State. It’s no surprise because of how hard the kid works in every aspect of his life. On top of being an All-State-caliber linebacker, Jonas has also been holding down a job while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. He is the type of young man every coach dreams of having on their team; he is hardworking, talented, smart, and a great teammate.
“Jonas has great attendance and holds himself to a high standard in the classroom. He was voted football team captain this year not only because of his ability on the field, but because he is what we want all of our student athletes to be like. I am extremely proud of Jonas and I am very lucky I got to see his greatness up close. Congrats on Academic All-State JO!”
