Head Coach Courtney Hurst: “ Evie is relentless in her pursuit of becoming the best athlete she can be. If a play or shot didn’t go her way she would try again and again and again. She would show up and do her best no matter what was going on outside soccer.
“Evie also works hard in her studies to make sure that she is on top of her classes. Being a student athlete is extremely challenging and Evie is a great example of how to be an astounding athlete and a proficient student. She is an absolutely amazing person – authentically herself all the time.
“Evie makes anyone around her smile. She is involved in many extracurricular activities that aim to make Blanding and San Juan High School a better place to be. The soccer team has been lucky to have such an amazing young woman on the team to represent San Juan High and Blanding.”
