Head Coach Skyann Palmer: “Not only was Morgann a huge leader in stats for San Juan volleyball this year, she led the team with a calm but feisty confidence that in most games was unmatched. As a 5’7” six-rotation outside hitter, her stats spoke for themselves. Morgann was a huge leader in the 2A for kills 474 (second in the 2A and eighth in the state of Utah). She was also third in the 2A for digs with 338.
“Morgann was trusted in every serve receive rotation, enabling us to use her offensively from the back row as well as the front row. She was a mental leader in games and in practice. She showed up every day with a positive attitude and had no quit in her. I only got to coach Morgann one year but she was like a little sponge with any tweak I made with her skills. She had the drive and was truly a coach’s dream. Morgann was also voted onto the Senior All Star team that played in early December.”
