Sterling Scholar Runner-up - Ethan Francom - San Juan - Mathematics

The Runner-up of the mathematics category is kind and hardworking. He is involved in quiz bowl, band, drama, FBLA, math club, science club, NHS, Youth Coalition, and Youth City Council. Though he is often really busy, he loves to take time to go on adventures, run, hike, and spend time with friends. He also loves to serve his community and school, even if it means long uncomfortable hours. He enjoys learning about and using mathematics inside and outside of school. Additionally, he loves to learn about science, civics, music, and literature. He has been inspired to do great things by all of his amazing friends and those close to him. The runner-up of the mathematics category is the son of James and Nicole Francom, from San Juan High School: Ethan Francom.
