South ramp closed at Recapture Reservoir

The Bureau of Land Management announced the temporary closure of public lands around the southwest shore boat ramp at Recapture Reservoir near Blanding. 
The boat ramp on the northeast side of the reservoir (access from the north sometimes referred to as the Monticello side) remains available for public use. 
Public access, including motorized, non-motorized, pedestrian, or otherwise, is prohibited within the temporary closure area through October 31 or until upgrades are complete.
Planned Utah Division of Wildlife Resources upgrades through the Utah Watershed Restoration Initiative include a boat ramp, parking lot, vault toilets, and a radar-based vehicle counter on Radio Hill Road.
