NOTICE OF ELECTION CITY OF BLANDING, UTAH NOVEMBER 3, 2026 GENERAL ELECTION
1. DATE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that the City of Blanding, Utah, will hold a
municipal ballot proposition election in conjunction with the regular General Election on
Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
2. POLLING HOURS On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026, polling locations will be open
from **7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.**
3. ELECTION WEBSITES & POLLING LOCATION NOTICE Information regarding the election,
polling locations, and voting procedures can be found on the following official websites:

Notice Statement: The San Juan County Election Officer will post on the websites listed above
the location of each polling place for each voting precinct, each early voting polling place, and
each election day voting center, including any changes to the location of a polling place.
4. VOTER INFORMATION PHONE NUMBER Voters may call the San Juan County Clerk’s Office
at (435) 587-3223 Ext: 4 to obtain information regarding the location of a polling place or
election procedures.
5. TITLE AND TEXT OF THE BALLOT PROPOSITION The full title and text of the ballot
proposition to be submitted to Blanding voters is as follows.
City of Blanding Proposal #1 A PROPOSAL TO PROVIDE CONTINUED PUBLIC FUNDING FOR
PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES.
Should there be reauthorized and continued a local sales tax of one-tenth of one percent (0.1%)
to fund publicly owned or operated recreational facilities such as parks, playgrounds, athletic
fields, swimming pools, trail systems, or other facilities used for recreational purposes?
Should the City continue this tax? [ ] Yes [ ] No
