Audrey Bailey Livingston

June 16, 1919 ~ November 29, 2014
In memory of our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Audrey Bailey Livingston passed away on November 29, 2014.
Audrey was born on June 16, 1919 in Moroni, Sanpete County, UT to Thomas Alma and Lizetta Martina Lauritzen Bailey.
She graduated from Moroni High School in 1937 and went to work for the Moroni Co-op Store for five years.  At this time, a young man returned from missionary service in Samoa and they began a courtship.
On May 19, 1941 she married Van Dee Livingston in the Manti Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Together they had three sons:  Tom (Layne) Livingston of Monticello; John Dee (Connie) Livingston of Orem; and David Ray (Julia) Livingston of Mapleton.
They have 17 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren.
Audrey was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was especially devoted to genealogy work.
At a very young age, she developed a burning desire to search out her ancestry, spent much of her life in this work and was loved and honored by her family for this dedicated service.  She worked several years in the LDS Church Extraction Program.
Van and Audrey also worked for the Marriott Hotel Corporation, managing properties for the LDS Church in Maryland and Salt Lake City.
After they retired, Van served in the Samoan Temple Presidency and Audrey served as a matron at the time the temple was dedicated.  Van and Audrey also served as workers in the Chicago, Salt Lake, Manti, and Provo temples.
Some of the other church callings she served in were ward relief society president, ward primary and young women’s presidents.
She is survived by her three sons.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years; her parents and sisters, Zella, Relia, Pearl, Euleda and Marceline.
Funeral services were held December 5, 2014 in Orem.  Interment in the Moroni City Cemetery in Moroni, UT.
