Bruce L Heinz October 5, 1955 ~ July 13, 2024

Bruce L Heinz, age 68 of Rexburg ID, died July 13, 2024, from accidental circumstances.
He was born October 5, 1955, in Rexburg to Lyle S and Helen Louise Hawkes Heinz.
Bruce graduated from San Juan High School in Blanding, UT in 1974. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the San Diego Mission. He enjoyed his service and the friends he made as a missionary.
After returning from his mission he married Beth Petersen on June 9, 1977, in the Manti Utah Temple. They lived in many places as they worked and raised their family together.
Bruce worked as an executive for the Golden Corral corporation for over 44 years. He was very successful in setting up and running new franchises. He and Beth continue to own two restaurants.
He enjoyed spending time with his family doing everything from shooting firearms to riding his Razr in the mountains and at the sand dunes. He loved music and was an avid Denver Broncos fan.
His favorite thing to do was sit on the porch and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature.
He is survived by his wife Beth Heinz, children Heather (Jeffrey) Neese, Candace (Jesus) Quintanilla, Jacob Heinz, Crystal (Joseph) Beckham, and Eric (Portia) Heinz, siblings Cathy (Dan) Hanna, Sherry (Robert) Bulloch, Michelle (Deb) Heinz, Pam (Jim) Russell, Lisa (Jae) Potter, LaNell Dennison, Holly (Mike) Schmuin, Heidi (Justin) Frandsen, and De (Barb) Jones, 21 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lyle S Heinz and Helen Louise Hawkes Heinz.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 20, in Rexburg Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
