Carol Louise Whipple Waite

June 15, 1938~May 8, 2008

Carol Louise Whipple Waite of Mesa, AZ passed away May 8, 2008 at her home from complications of Parkinson’s disease.

Carol was born in Snowflake Arizona on June 15 1938 to John and Emma Whipple. She moved to Monticello, Utah as a young girl.

She graduated from Monticello High School and attended Brigham Young University in Provo for a short time.

Carol was very active in her church and held numerous positions, especially with the youth. She enjoyed square dancing, singing, and gourmet cooking. She had a great talent for writing skits, poems and embellishing stories.

Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by husband Kennedy B. Waite, children Denice (Jeff) Overall, Connie (Barry) Shelly, Marnie (David) Christensen, Layne (Jamie) Mortensen, Bryce (Karen) Waite, Julie Ann (Brad) Cook, James (Heather) Waite, Heather (Ryan) Fuller, Benson Waite, and 24 grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Nereece Johnson, Grace Eastin, Charles (Gloria) Whipple, Loren (Joanne) Whipple, and Anneva (Ray) McCain.

Services were held in Mesa, AZ. She was laid to rest on May 13, 2008 at the Mesa City Cemetery.
