March 31, 1914 ~ June 24, 2012
Clytie Mildred Edgel Barber, 98, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012, in South Jordan, UT. She was born March 31, 1914, in West Jordan, UT, to Franklin and Mildred Warner Edgel.
Clytie graduated from Jordan High School. During World War II, she worked at Remington Arms and Hill Field.

She held these positions until retiring in 1983 at age 68.
She had a great love for Monticello and San Juan County and the people there.
She always felt her greatest achievement was providing for her sons through missions and higher education.
She moved back to West Jordan in 1986. Clytie loved flowers and plants of all kinds and took great satisfaction in working in her yard.
After retiring, she began doing custom hemstitching work and crocheting baby receiving blankets for Mormon Handicraft. She loved keeping busy, and did so as long as her health allowed.
