Danny O Flannery October 10, 1962 ~ July 15, 2024

Danny O Flannery, a beacon of laughter and generosity, passed away on July 15, 2024, in Blanding, Utah, at the age of 61. Born on October 10, 1962, in Portland, Oregon, Danny’s infectious smile and kind-hearted nature were evident from an early age.
In 1980, Danny married Rona Christiansen in Bountiful, Utah. Together they have five wonderful children: Scoot (Sara) Flannery, Cambria (Ryan) Palmer, Tiffany (Devan) Palmer, Chase (Tori) Flannery, and Shalie (Alex) Richards.
Danny was a devoted father whose humor and generosity were the cornerstones of their early family life.
Danny devoted himself to a life of service and protection. After completing the police academy in 1985, he moved his family to Blanding, Utah, where he dedicated 18 years to the community as police officer. He was also a skilled contractor and constructed several homes within the community.
His service reached international borders as he spent several years in Iraq, where he played a vital role in training police officers, sharing his expertise and shaping the future of law enforcement abroad.
In 2020, Danny found love again and married Allyn Adams. He became a stepfather to her four children: Tyrell (Libby), Koy (Makenzie), Ally, and Shaw. Together, they shared a bond that brought immense joy and companionship into each other’s lives.
Allyn and Danny’s time together was filled with laughter and the creation of precious memories that will continue to bring smiles to the faces of those who knew them.
Those who knew Danny will remember him as a funny, kind, and generous man. His ability to lighten any room with his humor was unmatched, and his kindness touched the lives of many.
His generosity knew no bounds, and he gave selflessly to both his loved ones and strangers alike.
Danny’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and service. He lived a life that exemplified the best of kindness. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know him.

Danny’s was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife Allyn, five children, four stepchildren, and 22 grandchildren, whom he loved with all his heart.
