David Woolly Fepuleai February 12, 1981 ~ November 2, 2024
David Woolly Fepuleai was born on February 12, 1981 to Ite Fepuleai and the late Tulaga Fepuleai.
He returned to our Father in Heaven on November 2, 2024 doing one of the things he loved most, playing basketball with his best friends.
He was the family favorite from the beginning and was always grateful for the love and support his siblings always gave him to pursue his dreams. David learned the value of hard work through watching his Father, and learned to love and accept everyone through his Mother’s example.
David started his love of sports at a young age. He gave a go at rugby but after an injury he found his true passion, which was basketball. He traveled to different countries to play games in the South Pacific.
David served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Alaska. He loved spreading the Gospel so much he requested an extension to the typical two years that Elders serve.
He loved the Gospel and loved sharing his testimony. One of the highlights of his last months on this mortal earth was being an ordinance worker in the Laie Hawaii Temple.
David was accepted to BYU-Hawaii in 2010. That’s where he met his Eternal Companion and the love of his life, Terra (Perkins.) They were married in the Laie Temple on April 15, 2011. They moved to Utah to start their family and his 13 year career working in the oil field.
David and Terra were blessed with three beautiful children: Kawika Tulaga (10), Tamatoa Curtiss (8) and his Princess, Lanaealani Cynthia (6).
David’s children were his pride and joy. The kids loved their adventures with their Daddy, whether it was swimming, playing at the park, movie nights or mountain rides.
There is a void in our hearts that can not be replaced. David had many friends that were like family and he loved all of his nieces and nephews. David’s infectious laugh will be missed, as well as his ability to crack a joke during the most serious of times.
Services for David are November 16, 2024 at Laie Hawaii North Stake Chapel. Visitation 11 a.m. Bishops Service at noon.
A memorial will be held on November 23 in Blanding Utah North Chapel. Visitation: 10:30-11:30 and a Memorial Service at noon.
The family would like to thank everyone for the out reach of love, prayers, donations and memories on David’s behalf. “Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not.”
