Deborah Lynn Thies

April 4, 1963 ~ August 16, 2015
Deborah Lynn Thies was born in Pasadena, CA on April 4, 1963. She was a loving sister and daughter with a beautiful smile and a personality to go with it. Debbie loved people, horses, cats, dogs and oil painting.
Debbie was very active in the High School Rodeo Association. She graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO with a degree in psychology and then attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
She had a successful professional career as a counselor and supervisor.
She later started a successful family restaurant “Cross Roads” which is fondly remembered for its superb entertainment andMexican and Chinese food specials. She also started a dog and cat grooming business “Muddy Paws”.
Debbie passed away on August 16, 2015.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Earl Thies.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Jane Thies; sister Cindy (Thies) Smith; brothers John and Arthur Thies; and two half-sisters, Trece (Thies) Smith and Jan (Thies) Fleck.
Debbie has many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews that all adore her.
Debbie was a kind and caring person. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
