Estefan Coronado March 19, 1990 ~ May 8, 2023

Estefan Coronado was born in El Paso,TX on March 19, 1990 to parents Eduvijes Lopez and Pedro Coronado.
Estefan grew up in Monticello, UT with his siblings Fernando, Armando, and Xochitl Coronado and gained two step sisters, Annalie & Emily Jacobo.
No matter how much they picked on each other, Estefan adored his siblings and had a special bond with each of them. Estefan loved being a big brother to his little sister and the way his eyes would light up every time he saw his mother would make your heart melt.
Estefan attended Summit and Monticello high schools, where he met and married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Jenna Swidnicki. They later bought a home there, welcoming a son, Xandyr Cruz Coronado.
Estefan lived his early 20s navigating the new waters of adulthood and fatherhood dedicating each day to trying to be better man. He then later welcomed another son, Dak Joaquin Coronado and Azalyn Starkey into his life of fatherhood.
Although he wasn’t able to be around his children as much as he had hoped, he loved and cared for them more than anything in the world. They were what kept him motivated in life.
Estefan worked for Monticello City, Crowley Construction, and Alan’s Body Shop, where he enjoyed every moment. He always worked so hard and in his spare time you could find him outside or getting his hands dirty in anything with an engine.
His passion was riding and he loved the rain because that meant that there would be mud to play in after. There wasn’t a rut he couldn’t hook a hitch to and not pull you out of.
He loved rock music, the Dallas Cowboys, and anything with wheels. He loved to live life on the edge and that was clear from his stories and tattoos.
His sense of humor was unmatched. There wasn’t a time you ever saw him where he wasn’t making a joke about something and trying to make you laugh or being sarcastic.
He loved running around with his cousins and friends, getting into trouble and causing chaos whenever they could.
Estefan was never afraid to help anyone in need. Stranger or friend, no matter what, he was there to help.
He relocated to Colorado, where he unfortunately passed away in the early hours of the morning of May 8, 2023 in Gunnison County. He will be cremated and taken home with his mother in Bloomfield, NM.
Estefan battled more demons than most but can now be at peace and watch over us all with those beautiful piercing green and hazel eyes. He will be remembered, loved, and missed by so many and his stories and memory will live on through all of us.
He is survived by his children Dak and Xandyr Coronado, parents Eduvijes Lopez and Pedro Coronado, siblings Fernando, Armando, and Xochitl Coronado, Annalie and Emily Jacobo, along with many cousins, extended family, and friends.
The family wishes to celebrate and grieve in their own way. There will be no services held.
