Genneve Pauline Sage-Joslin October 13, 1933 ~ January 9, 2023

Genneve Pauline Sage-Joslin passed away on January 9, 2023 in her home in St George, Utah.
She was born October 13, 1933 in Montrose Colorado to Eldon Dale Steele and Ruby Melissa Marie Steele (Miller). She Married Wayne Lawrence Sage August 5, 1951 in Nucla Colorado and they had 5 children, Eldon Sage (Leslie), Sherry Christensen (Gaylen), Shirley Christensen (Bill), Deana Dalton (Monte), Wayne Sage (Greg).
She had 19 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her spouse Wayne Sage, Eldon and Leslie Sage, and one great grandchild
Genneve met her sweetheart Wayne Sage in high school at Nucla Colorado, they were married her senior year. After graduation they made their home in Nucla Naturita area where she worked for the school as a secretary and Wayne worked for Lowell Staats Mining.
She was an active member of the Eastern Stars. She loved to read, crochet, cook, sewing, fishing, camping, four wheeling, houseplants, going for drives to look at wildlife, and the Bar-D.
She lived most of her life in the Nucla Naturita area. After Wayne passed away in 1980, she married Ken Joslin in 1984-1998 when he passed. Gen resided in Monticello Utah from 1998 until 2019 when she moved to St. George Utah
Genneve’s ashes will be laid to rest by her sweetheart Wayne Sage Memorial Weekend at a grave side celebration at the Nucla Colorado Cemetery.
