Glenna Webb

October 18, 1936 ~ October 31, 2021

Glenna Webb returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Parents on October 31, 2021 at her home in Lehi, UT at age 85.

She was born to Arthella Mae and John Glen Lant. She grew up in Provo, UT, two blocks away from her childhood sweetheart, Dan Webb. They later married in the Salt Lake Temple and had eight children.

Their posterity has grown to include 51 grandchildren and 86 great-grandchildren, with more on the way!

Glenna was studentbody Vice President and graduated from BY High. After college, she advanced in her career from being an Administrative Assistant on up to the Associate Director for the Division of Child and Family Services for the Eastern Region.

In addition to her work accomplishments, she served tirelessly for the church in the presidencies of all the auxiliaries, but her favorite callings were with the children in primary.

She produced roadshows, directed girls camp, and worked in the temple. She also served a full-time mission with her husband in Kiev, Ukraine, speaking and teaching music in Russian.

Glenna’s love was the children. She taught them in dance, she loved them in scouting, and she led them in Primary well into her late 70s. She served others by sharing her talents in knitting, crocheting, painting, tatting, quilting, sewing, and writing.

Glenna truly believed that the greatest work was in her own home. She served her family her entire life.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Larry and Boyd; and one granddaughter, Danae.

She is survived by her loving spouse, Dan Webb; her sister, Letty; and brother, John. All of her children are also living and celebrate Glenna’s life. Corrine Parmenter (Brett), Cindy Evans (Mark), Chris Webb (Stacey), Kevin Webb (Lori), Valynne Stephenson (LaMar), Roxanne Averett (Kevin), Brett Webb (Joan), and Patrice love and miss their angel mother.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6, in Lehi, UT, at the LDS Stake Center located at 1998 West 900 North. The viewing will be from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m., with the funeral following at 11 a.m.
