H. Louise Cox (Neilson)

Lived more than most

H. Louise Cox (Neilson) found her way home to the arms of the Lord early Memorial Day.

She lived more than most, growing up between her family’s home in Utah and their Montana ranch.

Being a female supervisor when they were few and far between, she was a part of the design of the first Boeing 727.

She also was a foster parent to teenage girls, raised children and grandchildren, was involved in her church, and juggled it all while always being there to help a friend in need.

She had a love of travel, she and her husband spent most every summer roaming the country with the companionship of her two small yorkies.

The compassionate family woman with the firey personality is survived by her devoted husband, Jack, of 37 years, her four daughters Nanette, Mary, Martha, and Paula, her eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristin, Brandon, Kale, Kai, Joshua, Timothy, and Rhiannon, two great-grandchildren, Griffin and Xander, and a multitude of extended family and friends.

Louise was never the last to jump in and help a friend and took an active role in the lives of all that she knew. She is now and will forever be carried in our hearts.

Services will be held at the family home and Kayak Point waterfront park in Stanwood, Washington on June 14.
