Hal W Adams January 9, 1955 ~ July 5, 2026

Hal W. Adams passed away in Monticello, UT on Saturday, July 5, 2026 at the age of 71, with his loving wife by his side.
Hal was born in Cedar City, UT on January 9, 1955 to Clemont and Ruth Adams.
He graduated from Cedar High School in 1973 and served the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on a mission in Ireland.
After his mission, he attended Southern Utah University and graduated with a degree in education in 1988. Hal taught in Shonto, AZ and Moab, UT. Hal absolutely loved teaching on the reservation.
Hal is preceded in death by his parents Clemont and Ruth Adams.
Hal is survived by his wife Lusana S. Adams of La Sal, UT. He is also survived by brothers and sisters Lenora (Gene) Roundy, Linda (Clyde) Hayes, Don (Maryann) Adams, Harl (Necia) Adams, Neil (Teri) Adams and Suann (Mike) Fleming. Hal’s four children are Clemont (Liesha) Adams, Neil (Kim) Adams, Jackie (Jacob) Light and Jacob (Crystal) Adams. Hal also is blessed with eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services for Hal W. Adams will be held at the La Sal Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on 950 West Markle in La Sal at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 11.
An Interment service will be held at a later date at the Cedar City Cemetery.
