James Richard Yeomans April 27, 1946 ~ September 5, 2025

James Richard Yeomans, aka Jimmy Dick, passed away peacefully at his home in Monticello, UT on Friday, September 5, 2025 at the age of 79.
Jimmy Dick was born on April 27, 1946 to Dick and Hezel Yeomans. He was raised in Mancos, CO with four older sisters.
He proudly served the United States in the Vietnam War not once, but twice. After serving his country, he worked in the oil field all over before settling down and retiring in Monticello.
He worked hard but played even harder and the stories he had would go on for a lifetime. Over the years he would share these stories and calm those wild oats and slow down.
You would see him working in his yard. He loved planting towers, building things and watching wild life.
He still traveled some to go hunting for fossils, arrowheads and dinosaur bones. But his true passions was his grandson Beau, granddaughter Bobbie and son Jim Bob. They were the love of his life. He also cherished his dear life long friends Eddie and Bubba.
Jimmy Dick is survived by son Jim Bob, his wife Chris, grandkids A.J., Beau and Bobbie Yeomans, daughter Jamie Yeomans and big sister Betty Peterson.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters Dixie, JoAnn and Leslie.
Gravesite services will be held at Mancos Cemetery in Mancos, CO on September 27, 2025 at 10 a.m.
