Joe F. Lyman

Marchl 21, 1936 ~ December 17, 2021

Joe F Lyman has fought the good fight and slipped quietly away to the next life under the tender care of his dear wife Marilyn in the wee morning hours of December 17th.

Joe was an educator remembered fondly by many students whose life he touched. True to his pioneer ancestry, Joe was a pioneer in numerous business enterprises with his entrepreneurial spirit and sought to better the lives of those he employed over the years.

He leaves a lifetime legacy of love and service to his community and a particular love of his native brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn and their posterity of over 125 descendants, who have benefitted from their example and firm testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Funeral services begin at noon on Wednesday, December 22 at the South LDS Chapel, 265 South Main Street in Blanding. Visitation from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
