John Harley Stewart

March 10, 1933 ~ April 27, 2015
John Harley Stewart was born on March 10, 1933 in Kansas City, MO to John Lorenzo Stewart and Scharlett Evelyn Priddy Stewart. 
He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. 
He worked for many years at the BLM as a surveyor and draftsman.  He also farmed and ranched in Eastland and Ucolo. 
He married Cleo Christensen, the love of his life, on July 11, 1977.  Cleo preceded John in death  October, 2013 and he was lost without her. 
John died peacefully in his sleep at home in Moab, UT on April 27, 2015. 
He is survived by his brother Ronald J. Stewart (Beverly), sisters Judy Ruflin (Leon) and Maree Eckland (Ed), children Howard M. Rogers and Terry Robinson (Mark), numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
The family held a graveside service with military honors Thursday, April 30 at the Monticello City Cemetery.
