Funeral services for Kayla Dawn Paddock were held Monday, December 15, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Blanding, UT. Interment followed at the Blanding City Cemetery.
Kayla was born on November 1, 1964 in Cortez, CO, the daughter of Glen Bradford Hatch and Bonnie Kay Dutchie. She passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at her home in Towaoc. Kayla was 50 years old.
Kayla was a very caring and loving parent. She was supportive of her entire family whom she loved deeply. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh, her outspoken personality, and what an intelligent person she was.
The Ute Mountain Ute culture was very important to Kayla. She participated in Pow Wow’s and Bear Dances and had the ability to adapt from Native American to Anglo cultures very easily.
Surviving Kayla are her mother, Bonnie K. Colorow, and husband, Marshall, of Myton, UT; her husband of eight years, Danny Paddock of Blue Gap, AZ; two children, Donnie Paddock and Delroy Paddock both of Towaoc; her siblings, Cletis Edward (Gina) Hatch of Blanding, UT, Stephen Bradford (Sherrie Billie) Hatch of Towaoc; and Debbie Hatch of Merced, CA.
She leaves behind nieces and nephews, Desteny (Blake) Hatch-Bingham and Dakota C. Hatch, all of Blanding, UT; Patricia Whyte and Viann Whyte; great-niece and nephew, Kynnedy Faith Bingham and Brandt Dakota Bingham; aunt Azalea Dutchie of Towaoc; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles and relatives.
Preceding Kayla in death are her father, Glen Bradford Hatch, and her brother, Glen Leonard.
