Kevin Warren Leatham June 9, 1956 ~ December 17, 2023

Kevin Warren Leatham was born on June 9, 1956 in Portland, Oregon. He passed away December 17, 2023 in Salt Lake City Utah at 67 years of age.
Kevin was adopted by Laura and Warren Leatham. They later divorced. Kevin’s mother Laura raised Kevin in Laura’s home town in Monticello.
There were no siblings. However, there were many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, neighbors who supported Kevin during his early years.
Kevin loved listening to music. Rock music was his genre of choice and later added Celtic. He was a happy and friendly person by nature.
Kevin moved with his mother to Salt Lake City in 1971. He graduated from Highland High School in 1974. He later served as a proselyting missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint assigned to the Florida Tallahassee Mission.
Kevin continued on in the Salt Lake City area working mostly in sales including health insurance, retail, and real estate. Kevin’s real love was listening to rock music at home, attending music festivals and concerts, riding his motorcycle, and occasionally playing guitar.
Kevin had a small circle of close friends. Kevin’s friendliness, infectious smile, and love of music endeared him to all he met.
Kevin’s many favorite music venues included Scottish music festivals and small-town festival celebrations. At large live concerts Kevin was always the ardent fan.
After attending a Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band concert in 1992 at Park City West with a friend, Kevin found where the band was staying. He had a friendly encounter with the band and Ringo Starr signed his name on a two-dollar bill and gave it to Kevin.
Kevin is proceded in death by his mother, Laura Robson Leatham, 2004. He is buried next to his mother in Monticello City Utah Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to Kevin’s celebration-headstone unveiling with the extended Robson family. Memorial service is Sunday May 18, 2025 at 11 a.m.
