Larry's life was marked by his unwavering love for his family, his robust laughter, and his remarkable ability to fix anything he put his hands on.
Larry met the love of his life, Susan, and together they created a legacy of love and laughter. Their partnership was a cornerstone of strength for the family. He was a devoted father to his children, Sunny Mitchell (Jerry), Davey Lee (Karen), Lacey Spencer (Scott) and Michael Lee (Kim). His role as a grandfather was one of his most cherished, as he was blessed with amazing grandchildren: Easton (Megan), Tatiana, Jaxon (Savannah), Kavika (Abi), Ta'ssi (Matt), Dillon, Maddax (Halli), MJ, Jaci, Traken, Riley, and Ethan. Larry's joy multiplied with the arrival of his great-grandchildren: Royce, Dylan, McCray, baby boy Lee, and baby girl Su'esu'e.
Throughout his life, Larry had a strong work ethic. He began his career as a miner. Later, he transitioned into a role as a contractor. Eventually, Larry found his calling as a Facility Manager at USU/Blanding, where his handy skills and ability to manage complex projects were extremely valuable. His colleagues will remember him as a man who could always be counted on, a true friend, and mentor in the workplace.
Larry's heart was always happiest when he was surrounded by the mountains. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for camping and hunting, activities he often shared with family and friends. His competitive spirit found an outlet in golfing, and he spent many joyful hours on the green. An avid sports fan, Larry not only relished watching games but also actively participated in them, sharing his enthusiasm with his grandchildren whom he followed passionately in their sports endeavors.
Larry's impact on the world was one of positivity and joy. Those who knew Larry will fondly remember his humor, smart remarks, pranks and playfulness. He was a man who loved deeply, laughed heartily, and lived his life with a genuine sense of purpose.
