Margaret Oa Jacobs Shumway July 22, 1936 ~ January 14, 2025

Margaret Oa Jacobs Shumway, age 88 of Blanding, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025. Born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, she was the eldest of four siblings.
Margaret graduated from Brigham Young University in 1958 with a nursing degree, where she met and married Bruce Lyman Shumway.
Margaret was a devoted mother of eight, grandmother of 63, and great-grandmother of 39. She dedicated her life to service, including three missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and various nursing roles.
Margaret was also an accomplished pianist and organist, sharing her talents throughout her life. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20, 2025, in the Blanding South LDS Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
