Peggy Enid Hamblin Jack

July 3, 1940 ~ March 10, 2010

Peggy Enid Hamblin Jack, was born July 3, 1940 in Alpine, AZ to Glen and Selena Hamblin.

Peggy passed away peacefully in her home on March 10, 2010 at age 69.

Peggy was exceptionally close to her siblings and parents during her growing-up years on a dairy farm in La Plata, NM. She often spoke of this time with fond expression and gratitude.

She began an eternal unit of her own on July 17, 1959, as she was sealed to her sweetheart Rayburn Elmer Jack in the Manti Utah temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Through the years as this marriage blossomed, Peggy blessed the lives of her family and community with a strong enthusiasm for life and a love for everyone she met. She had a zest for life and always showed a genuine concern for the happiness and contentment of others around her.

Peggy and Rayburn have enjoyed living in Blanding, UT for over 32 years. As a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Peggy served faithfully in several callings within the church, but her favorite was always that of a primary chorister.

She brightened lives in Blanding for over 25 years as an employee at San Juan Pharmacy. A highlight in Peggy’s life was the opportunity she had to serve an LDS mission in Spokane, WA with her husband, Rayburn.

Peggy is survived by three brothers – Obid, Elbert, and Ellis; two sisters – Barbara and Darlene; her husband, Rayburn Jack of Blanding, UT; and their six children – Derryl (Sally) Jack of Monticello, UT, Randall (Meredith) of Colorado Springs, CO, Karie (Tom) Palmer of Blanding, UT, Manette (Stuart) Shumway of Blanding, UT, Derek (Ruth) Jack of Logan, UT, and Tyler (Mandy) Jack of Monticello, UT.

She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
