Richard “Dale” Skidmore

December 17, 1957 ~ June 25, 2012
Richard Dale Skidmore, “Dale” was born to Freddie and Maudine Skidmore on December 17, 1957.
Dale lost his battle with cancer on June 25, 2012 at his sister’s home in West Valley City, UT.
Dale worked many different types of jobs, including farming on Ucolo Road and working for J.E. Sutherland Construction.
He married Shirley Fletcher (later divorced) and had three boys. His love of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and debating with anyone who would, was known by all who knew him.
Dale is survived by his parents of Monticello; sons Anthony (Paula) of Beloit, KS, Daniel of Monticello, and Josh of Monticello; sisters Lorena Trujillo of West Valley, UT and Nora (Richard) of West Valley, UT; grandchildren Isaac, Mikayla, Lillian, Savannah, Aidan and Kayla; 20 nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncle and cousins.
He is preceded in death by brothers Henry and Raymond, sisters Matilda and Meranda, and both sets of grandparents.
Interment will be at Dove Creek City Cemetery, located at 461 West 4th Street, in Dove Creek, CO on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11 a.m.
