Robert Que Steele

Loved to spend time in San Juan
Robert Que Steele of Orem, Utah passed away on April 11, 2012.
He was the son of Robert Steele (who used to come and peddle fruit here in San Juan County) and Geneva Black Steele (who came up from Mexico with her family to “Grayson” when she was five years old.)
Que, his wife Lucile, and family, his sister GenaVee, Lee R, and family would come every deer season to hunt and meet up with other relatives and friends. Most times there would be over 60 in his “hunting” party.  They would ALL stay with his sister DaNece (Dutch) and Francis Lyman.  Because there were so many, Fred and Audrey Halliday would offer their home.  It was affectionately called the “Halliday Inn.”
Many fun times and good memories were had here in Blanding.
